Plans
(upgrading/downgrading)
If you decide to downgrade
your account to a different MJourney hosting plan, a new
setup fee will be required (setup fee waived for upgrades).
However, we will apply any
unused monthly service fees to the new pro-rated charges.
Your renewal date will always stay the same.
Please select the
plan that is appropriate for your needs and send an
email to sales@mjourney.com.
Be sure to include your domain name or userid and the
plan you wish to change to.
Changing Servers
Upgrading or downgrading your account to
or from our High Volume Plans most likely will
require moving your account to a different server. If that is
the case, please confirm that you and your client have
read the following notes carefully so that we may proceed
with the upgrade or downgrade of your account.
1) Moving your account to a new server
will require that your domain name point to a new IP
address. As a result, our DNS records will need to be
updated to reflect the new IP number, which will result
in a propagation delay as this new information propagates
across the Internet. To ensure a seamless transition of
your site to the new server, you will need maintain two
copies of your site (one on the old server and one on the
new server) for a period of approximately 5 days, or
until the new DNS information is fully propagated across
the Internet.
2) If you are using "hit"
counters on your web pages, the counters may reset to
zero. Our Technical Support staff can reset them to a
specific number, but you need to e-mail your domain name
as well as the counter name(s) and desired settings to support@mjourney.com . Be
sure to include your domain name in the subject line of
the message.
3) If you have installed any custom
scripts that reference the server number upon which your
account currently resides, please contact support for
more information about making
scripts server independent.
If you accept the above consequences,
please cut and paste these four points so we can verify
that you have read this information and select the plan
that is appropriate for your needs. Send this information

. Be sure to include your domain name or UserID and the
plan you wish to change to.
Upgrading from a non-domain
plan to a domain plan:
You may place an order for domain web
hosting service online. Please be sure to note
your current non-domain userid so that we can apply the
appropriate credit. You will need to reupload files from
the old web site once the new account is activated.
